PHOTOS: Warm October

January 18, 2016 by Leave a Comment

October 5Down here in NC, I believe we had the warmest fall in over 100 years. It was glorious! Although still raking up leaves in December was a bit odd. I was fortunate enough to receive an early Christmas present this fall — a new camera. It’s nothing too fancy, a Nikon 3300, their baseline DSLR that offers manual setting control. Sorry kids, but mama’s been a bit obsessed with photos. October6 marked

Also enjoying our pigs in their final days on the farm, building pergolas, starting seeds, installing patios and flagstone sidewalks, expanding the chicken run so the garden can recover, and trying to survive virtual school 😉 Phew! Exhausting and beautiful things☀️ #farmkids #wildsunshinefarm #letthembewild #homesteading

Totally doubling our flock size this year... and tripling the size of their run so we can contain the garden-eating beasties. #backyardchickens #homesteadinglife #wildsunshinefarm #nofilter
